WayInk uses the minimum data needed to provide accounts, membership and local video creation.

1. Content processed on your device

The GPX, TCX, FIT, ZIP and photo files you choose, and the videos and posters made from them, are parsed, drawn and encoded in your browser. WayInk has no endpoint for uploading or hosting these source files or finished works. You must import them again after a refresh or closing the page. You and the receiving app control downloaded or shared files.

2. Account and service data

When you sign in, we process the email address or mainland China phone number that you provide to send a one-time code. The server keeps a lookup digest, a masked display value and an encrypted delivery address. It does not store plaintext verification codes or session tokens. Account records also include an account ID, display name, trial and membership access, order and refund state, sign-in method and time, and operation state needed to prevent duplicate use.

3. Payments and service providers

• Paddle: processes payment details, taxes, receipts and transaction status at checkout. WayInk does not receive full card details.
• Zoho Mail: delivers sign-in codes and enabled service messages.
• Alibaba Cloud Phone Number Verification Service: delivers sign-in codes to mainland China phone numbers.
• OpenFreeMap: receives requests for map tiles in the viewed area and may learn your network address and approximate region. It does not receive source activity files, photos or videos.
• Hosting and security providers: may keep ordinary access logs under their configuration to deliver and protect the site.

4. Purposes, retention and security

We use data to sign you in, provide features and access, process payments and refunds, support you, protect the service, investigate faults and meet legal duties. We retain account and transaction records for as long as needed for these functions and their audit trail. You may request access, correction or deletion. Records required for legal, financial or security reasons may not be deleted immediately.

5. Your choices

You choose which files and photos to use and whether to download or invoke the system share sheet. The share sheet only hands the work to the app you select; WayInk cannot confirm that it was ultimately saved or published. Do not email full card numbers, verification codes, passwords or secret keys.
